• We are certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women.

• Poka-Yoke Solutions was named one of PA Business Central’s Women in Business 50-Women Owned Businesses to follow! (Oh, and Erica was named Top CEO for PA Business Central’s Women in Business!)

• Last, but not least… We are a government certified woman owned small business (WOSB)!

While one of our superpowers is distilling clarity in the complexity between processes, systems, and people, it’s also being a woman founded, owned, and operated agency.

• A New York Times article in 1984 reported that 2.5 million businesses were owned by women. In 2019, nearly 13 million of all U.S. businesses are owned by women.
• According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), in 2019, only 28% of new U.S. businesses were started by women. In 2021, the number increased to 49%.

• Female-led businesses help drive our economy forward and create jobs. In 2019, the American Express State of Women-Owned Businesses Report found that employment at women-owned businesses grew by 8% while total job growth for all businesses was only 2%.
